The Annual Report 2024-2025 | FROM STRENGTH TO STRENGTH
VOLUNTEER SPOTLIGHT
Bryan Sadoff
both Albert & Ann Deshur JCC Rainbow
Day Camp and Steve & Shari Sadek Family
Camp Interlaken JCC, and joining their
parents for Camp Interlaken family camp.
Bryan’s love of camp, as both a camper
and a parent, led him to serve on the
Camp Interlaken Committee for 20
years, bringing his thought leadership
to strategic planning, fundraising, and
governance e昀昀orts. He eventually rose to
become chair of the Camp Committee and
was at the helm when Camp Interlaken
had to suspend business due to Covid-19
and also when the JCamp180 program
introduced the All Together Now matching
grant opportunity. Bryan completed his
tenure by enacting term limits to ensure
that new voices could come o昀昀 the bench
to guide camp as it continues to go from
strength to strength.
The Harry & Rose Samson Family Jewish
Community Center is pleased to present
this year’s Joe E. Smith Distinguished
Volunteer Award to Bryan Sado昀昀, a
community player who has never stopped
giving the assist.
When Bryan laces up his sneakers for a
pick-up basketball game in the Marcus
Gym, the squeak of the hardwood is more
than a sound from his childhood – it’s the
rhythm of a lifelong relationship with the
JCC. From his 昀椀rst layups in the gym on
Prospect Avenue to almost three decades
of leadership in the JCC Basketball League
(JBL), Sado昀昀 has always viewed community
service as a full-court game.
Professionally, Bryan Sado昀昀 is Senior
Vice President and Financial Advisor
at Wealth Enhancement Group, yet his
proudest returns are those that ensure
the future of the JCC programs that he
loves. In addition to his leadership roles
with Camp Interlaken and the JBL, Bryan
has brought his voice to strategic planning
e昀昀orts for special events like Laugh It Up
Milwaukee and KidShare. Today, Bryan
continues his involvement by serving on
the JCC Board of Directors, providing him
an opportunity to help guide strategic
planning, governance, and philanthropy
e昀昀orts that bene昀椀t the agency as a whole.
Growing up in Milwaukee, Bryan’s
Jewish journey ran through every JCC
program imaginable. He remembers
taking swim lessons with Howard Wagan,
having Lenny Kass as his counselor, and
attending family camp with his parents,
Micky and Ron, and brother Michael.
After college in Madison and kickstarting
his career in Chicago, Bryan and his wife,
Alicia, returned to Milwaukee in 1997 to
raise their family and received the gift of
JCC membership from Bryan’s parents,
which set them on the path to lifelong
community engagement and leadership.
They were proud to see their sons, Brad
and Adam, continue the Sado昀昀 tradition
with swim lessons at the JCC, attending
“Why the JCC?” Sado昀昀 re昀氀ects. “The people,
the programs, the mission, the values –
the pure joy. This recognition is special
to me after decades of volunteering at
the JCC and contributing to a winning
team that is always there to support our
community.”
