Join Jody for an exploration of the Book of Genesis like you’ve
never seen before. Together, we’ll study foundational stories
from the Torah and compare the original Hebrew text with
two modern graphic interpretations: The Book of Genesis
Illustrated by comic legend R. Crumb and Let There Be Light:
The Real Story of Her Creation by acclaimed cartoonist Liana
Finck. Through discussion and visual analysis, we’ll uncover
new meanings, challenge traditional narratives, and discover
how ancient texts continue to inspire contemporary art and
conversation.
