of her new book, which examines the development of
antisemitism in the years immediately following the Holocaust.
Comparing experiences in East and West Germany, Austria,
and the United States, Silverman introduces the concept of
the “昀椀gural Antisemite” and explores how antisemitism was
understood and experienced across di昀昀erent societies.
