The Lord of the Flies
William Golding

1984
George Orwell
Written 75 years ago, 1984 was Orwell’s chilling prophecy about the future.
And while 1984 has come and gone, his dystopian vision of a government
that will do anything to control the narrative is timelier than ever. The novel
follows Winston Smith as he secretly rebels against the Party’s surveillance
state, only to discover the terrifying extent of its power over truth, history,
and even thought itself.
