Think of the JCC Men’s Club as a talk show without cameras,
microphones, or commercials. This vibrant and stimulating
group is designed for active semi-retired and retired men looking to come together and discuss topics like politics, religion,
and current events. Became part of the gang!

Connect with a supportive community of women ages 65 and
older as you navigate life’s next chapter together. In this foursession series, you’ll engage in meaningful conversations,
explore healthy coping strategies, and learn practical tools
for living with energy, purpose, and resilience. Guided by
Lea Borenheim, MSW, and retired Clinical Social Worker at
NYU Langone Health, you’ll re昀氀ect, share, and grow through
interactive sessions covering stress management, emotional
wellness, and the joys and challenges of aging with intention.

The click of the tiles mixes with players call 6 bam, 5 crack,
昀氀ower 昀椀lls the air – it must be time for open Mahj! Mahj is a
rummy-like game played with tiles instead of cards. Co昀昀ee,
tea, and light snacks are provided. Be sure to coordinate with
your tablemates to bring a set!
Have you always been curious to learn Mah Jongg? Want
to know what a Bam and Crack are? Do you long to hear the
clicking of the tiles and learn strategies? Join the JCC’s very
own expert teacher, Jackie Blumberg, for beginner-friendly
Mahj lessons!
